At Roundhouse One Gallery: Lost in Translation: How prototyping is reshaping architecture, an exhibit (12 June – 9 August) and panel (27 June).
Opening on Wednesday, 12 June, at 5:30 p.m., Lost in Translation looks at how architecture has been transformed by the introduction of prototyping as a means of translating data into form. Curated and designed by Department of Architecture (DoA), LIT features work by MATSYS (CCA), MTTR MGMT (UCB, CCA, Sci-Arc), and Nervous System (MIT) that shows the impact of computational modeling and digital fabrication on design and methods. A panel on Thursday, 27 June, at 6:00 p.m will explore these issues.
