Kari Marboe is a text-based visual artist who received her Master of Fine Arts from UC Berkeley in 2012 and her Bachelor of Fine Arts from California College of the Arts in 2008. Her pieces are built around the themes and spaces of their specific sites. Past works have been placed in locations such as the Bancroft Street entrance at the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive, the East Bay Express newspaper, and the Waffle Shop Billboard in Pittsburgh, PA.
